Tribal people, others get relief from Red Crescent

The Bangladesh Red Crescent Society has distributed relief aid to 500 helpless families, including tribal families in Natore on Thursday morning to help them fight the corona effect. The distribution took place at Shankarbhag Primary School ground in Natore Sadar Upazila at the initiative of the district unit of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society. 

The district unit chairman Adv. Sajedur Rahman Khan presided over the distribution while local MP Shafiqul Islam Shimul distributed relief aid among the families as the chief guest.

Deputy Commissioner of Natore Md Shahriaz, Additional Superintendent of Police in charge of Natore Sadar Circle Abul Hasnat, Natore Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jahangir Alam, Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman and Vice Chairman of the district unit of the society Shariful Islam Ramzan and others were present at the time.
