Students from different educational institutions in Thakurgaon on Saturday demanded exemplary punishment for killing a 10th grader named Sraboni Rani.
Classmates and teachers of the deceased brought out a procession from CM Ayub Girls’ High School on Saturday morning. Later, they took the position at the Chowrasta of the town and formed a human chain.
At that time, General Secretary of Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council of Thakurgaon District branch Prabir Gupta Barua, Headmaster of CM Ayub Girsl High School Deepandra Nath Jha, Assistant teacher Priti Ganguly along with students of the school.
Speakers at that time demanding exemplary punishment for killing Sraboni Rani. However, on Wednesday night Sraboni Rani was stabbed to death by her husband. Sraboni's father case a filed with Thakurgaon Police Station mentioning Shohag Barmon in this connection.
