‘Nandanik Kishoreganj Gari’ has taken initiative to decorate Kishoreganj upazila of Nilphamari by mass tree plantation. Krishnacura, Jarul, Palash and Sonalu tree saplings were planted on both sides of the road on Friday.
On Friday, at 11 o'clock in the morning, the planting of ornamental trees was inaugurated under the chairmanship of Lion Md. Azharul Islam Dulal, Associate Professor of Government Begum Rokeya College and Team Leader of Aesthetic Kishoreganj Gari Program. Kishoreganj Upazila Parishad Chairman Shah Md. Abul Kalam Bari Pilot was the inaugural speaker. Mr. Nur-i-Alam Siddiqui, Upazila Nirbahi Officer was present as the Chief Guest. Lion Manik Hossain, founder of Vince College Rangpur was present as special guest. Lion Md. Azharul Islam Dulal, Team Leader of Nandnik Kishoreganj Gari and Associate Professor of Begum Rokeya College, said, 16 km from Khokar Bazar of Kishoreganj upazila to Magura check post.
The trees will be planted on both sides of the road. Green Earth Safe Heart plans to implement an aesthetic Kishoreganj Gari program to spread Krishnacura, Jarul, Palash, Sonalu trees on both sides of all the roads in Kishoreganj in the shortest possible time.
