Police have banned tourist from visiting tourist spots in Chattogram on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. This information was given in a notification sent from the public relations branch of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) on Thursday.
The city dwellers have been specially requested not to gather at any tourist center of the city. According to the notification, if anyone violates the direction, appropriate legal action will be taken against him or her.
In order to prevent the transmission and spread of corona virus, visitors have been banned from visiting various tourist spots in the city including Patenga Sea Beach, Parki Beach and Faye’s Lake.
Moreover, the ban on gathering of people at Patenga Sea Beach was imposed by the CMP on March 18 to prevent the corona transmission is still in force.
