A total of 200 blankets were distributed among the orphans and third gender people, living in various
areas, in Sadar upazila of Gopalganj district on Friday afternoon. The warm clothes were distributed from the Rotary Club of Aroma Dhaka with the help of Gopalganj district police.
Deputy Police Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) and the president of the Rotary Club of Aroma Dhaka Asma Siddika Mili handed over the blankets as the chief guest in Gopalganj district police line area under Sadar upazila.
Superintendent of Police of the district Ayesha Siddika, Special Superintendent of Police Fateha Yasmin, Superintendent of Railway Police Nigar Sultana, member of Rotary Club of Aroma Dhaka Advocate Abdul Mannan Mia, Engineer Mamun Mia, Nur Uddin Patwari, Syed Salim Sajjad, among others, were present on the occasion.
