Training workshop on ‘Innovation in public services’ begins at UGC

A two-day training workshop on ‘Innovation in Public Services’ organized by Information Management, Communication and Training (IMCT) division of University Grants Commission (UGC) was held on Sunday, reports BSS. 

The workshop has been organized for capacity building of innovation to reach the services to the doorsteps of people at easiest and innovative way under national integrity strategy.

Professor Dr. Mohammad Yousuf Ali Mollah, Acting Chairman, UGC graced the function as the Chief Guest.

In his speech Prof. Mollah noted that innovative and novel idea is imperative for making activities of any organization dynamic and easier. He stressed the need for discharging duties in systematic, innovative and effective way to keep pace with today’s world, and called upon the participants to contribute to the public services in place of being self-centered.

Deputy Secretary of Implementation Monitoring & Evaluation Division (IMED) of Planning Ministry Mahbubur Rahman and the Capacity Development Expert of A2i Programme at Prime Minister’s Office Mahbubur Rahman were present as the resource persons on the occasion

Thirty four officials from UGC and seven public universities of the country are participating in the two-day training workshop held at the UGC auditorium in Agargaon.
