A two-day training workshop for Chatmohar jute growers was organized by the Upazila Administration and Jute Department at Pabna’s Chatmohar Upazila.
The training workshop was held at Chatmohar Upazila Parishad Auditorium on Friday and Saturday with the slogan ‘Shonali Asher Shonar Desh, Mujib Borshe Bangladesh’.
The concluding ceremony of the workshop was presided over by Chatmohar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Saikat Islam while, Chief Inspector of Jute Department Hajjajur Rahman, Deputy Director of Pabna Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) Abdul Quader, District Jute Development Officer Mamunur Rashid and others spoke at the time.
A hundred jute farmers from different unions of Chatmohar took part in the training workshop aimed at modern and advanced technology based jute and jute seeds production and expansion of jute cultivation instead of traditional jute cultivation.
