Kapasia Dairy Farm Association organized a training workshop and conference for more than 250 dairy and cattle farmers in Amraid area under Kapasia upazila of Gazipur on Saturday.
Kapasia Upazila Chairman Md. Amanat Hossain Khan was the chief guest while, Upazila Livestock Officer-in-Charge Dr. Ashraf Hossain was the special guest.
Kapasia Dairy Farmers Association organized conferences and formed committees in Tok, Barirshab, Rayed, and Singhashree Unions. A five-year Union Executive Committee of the Dairy Farmers Association has been formed by electing Md. Firuz Mir the president.
Mostafizur Rahman Selim, Chief Adviser of Handshake (Pvt.) Ltd. inaugurated the conference under the chairmanship of Asaduzzaman Bhuiyan Rubel.
The training workshop was held under the overall supervision of Omar Farooq, Organizing Secretary of the Upazila Committee of the organization while GS of Upazila Dairy Farmers Association Jahangir Alam addressed the conference.
Chairmen of various unions, leaders of political parties, and local dignitaries were present at the timr.
