Magura Regional Spice Research Center arranged a training programme on Sunday for farmers on modern techniques of spice crop.
This programme was held in Magura Regional Spice Research Center Auditorium in collaboration with the project in order to strengthen the research of the spices crop.
Md. Moniruzzaman presided over the training program while Mohammad Nazirul Islam, Director General Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute was present as the chief guest. Mohammad Miaruddin Director of the Agricultural Research Institute was present as a special guest.
Senior scientific officer Mahmudul Hasan, scientific officer Reazul Hasan, and scientific officer Salina Akter spoke among others. The speakers trained 30 farmers on planting and increasing the yield of spice crops.
