A three-day investigative report training with the participation of journalists working in Natore started on Thursday.
Natore Municipal Mayor Uma Chowdhury Jolly inaugurated the training as the chief guest.
Zafar Wazed, Director General of Press Institute Bangladesh (PIB), Sohrab Hossain, General Manager of Natore Palli Bidyut Samiti-1, Jalal Uddin, President of Natore Press Club and others were present at the time.
Thirty journalists from the district participated in the three-day investigative reporting training. On the inaugural day, the training was imparted by Rahat Minhaj, Associate Professor at the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, Jagannath University.
The Director General of PIB said that through such training, it is possible to increase the professional excellence of journalists and make investigative reporting more efficient.
