Marking the Mujib Year, a training program on smooth implementation of re-locatable housing constructions at char areas under Asrayan-2 project was held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Rangpur on Saturday.
Divisional Commissioner Md Abdul Wahhab Bhuiyan presided over the event which was participated by the Additional Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Upazila Nirbahi Officers and other concerned officials from across the division.
Project Director (Joint Secretary) of Asrayan-2 project at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Abu Saleh Mohammed Ferdous Khan and Additional Divisional Commissioner (Revenue) Md Ibrahim Khan attended the event as distinguished guests.
Deputy Commissioner of Rangpur Md Asib Ahsan, Deputy Commissioner of Kurigram Mohammad Rezaul Karim and Deputy Commissioner of Gaibandha Md Oliur Rahman were present as participants.
Besides, Deputy Directors (Local Government), Additional Deputy Commissioners (Revenue), Upazila Nirbahi Officers, Assistant Commissioners (Land), District Relief and Rehabilitation Officers, Upazila Engineers and Project Implementation Officers of Kurigram, Gaibandha and Rangpur districts participated the event. They discussed on the design, estimated costs, project monitoring and implementation of re-locatable housing constructions at the training for the smooth implementation of portable housing construction activities at char areas of the division.
