A social awareness training programme for juvenile males and females on checking child marriage, sexual harassment, dowry and repression on women was held at the conference room of Lalpur Upazila Parishad on Tuesday morning.
A total of 165 juvenile males and females participated the two-day long training. Presided over by Laila Hafia, Lalpur Upazila Women Affairs Officer, Isahaque Ali, Chairman of Lalpur upazila Parishad attended the programme as the chief guest. Bangladesh government and JICA jointly sponsored the programme.
