Training courses for youths begin in Gopalganj

A three-month long garment manufacturing training course and one-month long freelancing/outsourcing and youth kitchen training course, with the motto ‘Skilled Youth Will Build the Nation – A Discrimination-Free Bangladesh,’ was inaugurated in Gopalganj on Wednesday.

The three-month long training course, organized by Gopalganj Department of Youth Development, will continue from October to December.

The training courses were inaugurated by chief guest Mohammad Kamruzzaman, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Gopalganj. The inauguration programme was arranged at the Deputy Director’s office of Gopalganj Department of Youth Development at 10:00am on Wednesday. Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Golam Kibria presided over the programme.

To the trainees presented at the programme, the chief guest said you should strive to undergo the training properly and play an effective role in the socioeconomic development of their families through self-employment, helping to elevate our beloved motherland to a respectable position. By successfully completing your training, you will be able to make a significant contribution to improving your own fortunes.

Assistant Director of Gopalganj Department of Youth Development Md Sajedul Haque moderated the programme. Deputy Director of Gopalganj Department of Youth Development Muhammad Mizanur Rahman, Assistant Commissioner Md Sebgatullah were present as special guests. A total of 300 trainees participated in the training course. After the training, a stipend of Tk 100 will be provided based on the attendance for each working day, excluding public holidays.
