Traffic police resumed their work in Cox’s Bazar on Monday after a long break. The general students under the banner of anti-discriminatory student movement also worked with the traffic police on Monday to maintain the traffic on the road. The students welcomed the traffic police members at that time.

Traffic police resumed their work on the main road in Cox’s Bazar on Monday afternoon. Additional Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Md Jashim Uddin Chowdhury said although the traffic police initially started their work on limited scale, they will completely work from August 14.

He said the traffic police resumed their work due to the demand of the people. Members of traffic police will work regularly from now on to bring back the order on the roads. The police members called upon everyone to follow the traffic rules.

Jashim Uddin Chowdhury said people have become very aware since the students performed traffic duties on the road. The students have brought the vehicles under law and order. We have to maintain that. He said that they are determined to work as the people’s police. Along with that, he also urged everyone to obey the law.
