Lux star actor Mumtaheena Chowdhury Toya regularly acts in commercials, short films, stage plays and telefilms. She recently trained for a month in Anupam Kher Actor Prepares, an acting school of renowned actor Anupam Kher. She recently returned to the country after enriching her acting skills and is now acting in the drama serial ‘Silent Propose’ written and directed by Milad Boro Bhuiyan.
In this play, Toya plays a speech impaired person. The story of the play revolves around Toya’s character. Regarding her acting in the play, Toya said, ‘I had never worked with this team before, so I had to put in more effort. The director was very sincere in his work. Since he himself is the scriptwriter, he tried to make the story as good as possible. The story is very fresh and unique. I hope the audience likes the show.’
Toya said the play will be aired on ATN Bangla next month. Meanwhile, after returning from Anupam Kher's acting school, Toya has been selective in her work. On Friday, Toya attended a reality show as a show stopper. Today she will leave for Bogra to attend another stage show. After returning from there, she will take part in two drama serials by producer Hasib. Afterwards she will be in Sylhet to take part in a new music video.
