Mumtahina Chowdhury Toya is a popular small screen actress in Bangladesh. She had not done that much work in the previous Eid due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. This time she is trying to make up for lost time by working hard in dramas for the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha.
She is working in a drama by talented playwright Mahmudur Rahman Hime. The name of the drama is ‘Hello Genius’. The drama is composed by Murad Ahmed. Popular actor Manoj Pramanik has acted opposite to Toya in the drama.
In the meantime, the work of shooting the scenes has been completed at a shooting house in Uttara of the capital. Regarding the performance in the drama, Toya said, “I worked with Manoj after one year and under Hime’s direction after two years. It has been a very good work.”
Director Mahmudur Rahman Hime said, “Before, I did a drama called Shada Kalo with Toya. Her acting has become much more refined than before.
Her acting is now much more mature than before. I am quite satisfied working with her as a director. And this is my first work with Manoj. He has also given his fullest which is why I’m so happy with the first job with him. As a director, I am very optimistic about the drama.”
The drama ‘Hello Genius’, produced by Alpha Eye founder Shahriar Shakil, will be aired on RTV next Eid. Meanwhile, Mahmudur Rahman Hime will make another drama today and tomorrow with Tawsif and Safa.
