The sea surge increased. Large waves are coming to the beach. Ignoring all this, tourists are gathering to Cox's Bazar.
However, special security measures have been taken for the safety of the tourists.
The tourist couple from Narayanganj, Rani and Shamima said they came to Cox's Bazar to enjoy a different form of beach in the rain.
Rafiqul Islam, a tourist from Moulvibazar, said he came to Cox's Bazar sea beach to see what it looks like.
Shahana Akhtar Mukta a tourist came from Sylhet said, "The Sea is warm, so I lay down to the water and it is nice to be here in the rain”.
Managing Director of Hotel Palace Paradise Shahadat Hossain said, "We have good booking even in the midst of adverse weather. Group bookings are often available on weekends. Other days the number of tourists is good.
Vice-President of Cox's Bazar District Restaurant Owners Association Kasem Ali said, "There has been a lot of development in the tourism industry in the last six years." More than 150 restaurants are doing good business in Cox's Bazar.
Cox's Bazar acting superintendent Mohammad Iqbal Hossain said, besides the tourist police, the district police and tourists are working for safety. Surveillance has been enhanced in the hotel motel zone. Tourist Police Superintendent Zillur Rahman said that besides the Cox's Bazar beach, additional patrols have been made to ensure the safety of tourists in tourist spots including Inani Himachari. Cox's Bazar has been increased in various facilities for tourists. The beach management committee has taken several steps, including drawing cleanliness on the beach. As a result, tourists feel comfortable for coming here.
Assistant meteorologist Abdur Rahman of the Cox's Bazar Met Office said the sea was overturned due to the heat wave created in the Bay of Bengal. Cox's Bazar, Chittagong, Mongla and Payra Seaport were called to the area at 5am. However, in the past 24 hours, the Cox's Bazar Meteorological Office recorded 115 millimetres of rainfall.
