Dead jellyfish have been floating on Cox's Bazar beach for the past few days. Although the cause of the death of the dead box jellyfish Gulu is not confirmed, climate experts fear that these jellyfish may die due to excessive heat in the sea due to climate change. Many dead jellyfish have been removed from Labani Point by tourist police. Scientists are trying to find out the reason for the death of the jellyfish that have been floating in the waves for the past two days. Samples were collected and taken to the laboratory.

In the afternoon, many dead jelly fish can be seen on the beach of Cox's Bazar. Which has been lying dead on the sandy beach for days. Dead jellyfish have been seen on the beach for several days. The procession of dead jelly fish spread from Darya Nagar to Himchhadi is quite heavy. The weight of each of these jelly fish is 12 to 15 kg. Rafiqul Islam, a fisherman in Daryanagar, said that he had never seen so many jelly fish die together on the sea shore before. This is the first time this has happened.

Meanwhile, scientist of Sea Research Institute, Abu Said Mohammad Sharif, said that when the salinity level in the deep sea reaches the bed, the jellyfish get stuck in the sand when they come to the coast in places of low salinity. Then it dies. He also said that fishing in the sea was stopped for a long time. Suddenly many trawlers went fishing. Many jellyfish may have died from being caught in their nets. However, samples of the dead floating jelly fish were collected on Tuesday night. The cause of death can be confirmed only after the investigation. Then the research will also come up whether there is sea pollution or any other reason. On Thursday, Darya Nagar police personnel recovered several items with the help of an organization called Green Voice.

Md Rezaul Karim, Additional Superintendent of Police, Tourist Police, Cox's Bazar Region, said, after talking to the fisheries scientists about what can be done with the jellyfish floating in the ocean, as per their advice, we have buried several jellyfish under one foot of sand with the help of Dariya Nagar Green Boys. .

Sea researcher and climate expert Ahmad Ghiyas said, jellyfish are seen to die in spring. Last year, dead jellyfish washed up on some coastal areas of America for about 1000 kilometers. As a result of climate change, jellyfish can die in response to heat webs called bulbs due to excessive heat in the ocean.

Environmentalist HM Nazrul said that it is important to be aware that the environment of the area is not polluted due to the dead jellyfish. However, he also said that research is needed for the cause of death.

A team led by Pervez Musharraf, a member of the Bangladesh Environment Movement Bapa district committee, works to remove jellyfish from the beach area.

Marine Research Institute scientist Abu Saeed Mohammad Sharif said, although not fatal, if you come in contact with these jelly fish lying on the beach, it can cause various problems including itching.

Environmentalist Masud Ur Rahman said that these jellyfish are very important to protect the environment of the sea. Therefore, the cause of the death of these jellyfish must be confirmed and the environment of the sea must be maintained.
