Tourist bus service connecting Bandarban district town to Nilgiri was inaugurated in the district.
Bir Bahadur Ushei Singh MP, Minister for Chattagram Hill Tracts Affairs, inaugurated the tourist bus service of Hotel Hill view by snapping the ribbon as the chief guest at a function held at the conference room of the hotel on Thursday.
Bir Bahadur Ushei Singh during the inaugural function said with the introduction of the tourist bus service, the Bandarban district progressed one-step forward. Tourists at Bandarban now be able to visit all the resorts of Bandarban by two buses (AC/Non-AC). The tourists would be able to visit the district with full security with a low cost from now on, he added.
The function was attended and addressed, among others, by Deputy Commissioner Daudul Islam, Superintendent of Police Zerin Akhter, Member of Parbatta Chattagram Regional Parishad Kajol Kanti Das, Municipal Mayor Mohammad Islam Baby and President of Banderban Transport owners-labourers unity alliance Abdul Quddus.
