A courtyard meeting was held at the courtyard of Bacchu Master in Nagdemra Union under Santhia Upazila regarding “Tottho Apa”: Empowerment of Women through Information Communication Technology to Build Digital Bangladesh (Phase 2) program on Tuesday morning.
The meeting was organized by Upazila Information Center, Santhia, Pabna with the support of Jatiyo Mohila Sangstha, Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.
In the presence of more than 2 hundred women and children, the meeting provided information on various topics including child marriage, education, health etc. Santhia Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), S M Jamal Ahmed attended the event as the Chief Guest while UP Chairman, Harunur Rashid presided over it.
Later, 1 hundred women received honorary and refreshments.
