Tk 40 Million fund was disbursed among three promising startups, marking a significant milestone in fostering the entrepreneurial spirit within Bangladeshduring the GEN Week festivities.

Global Entrepreneurship Week is in full swing, and in Bangladesh, the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) Bangladesh and Bangladesh Venture Capital Limited joined hands to celebrate and empower entrepreneurs throughout the country. 

The week-long celebration, held at the prestigious Daffodil Plaza, brought together innovators, investors, and business leaders to promote economic growth and support dynamic startups. 

The recipients of this financial support include: Paragon Pump Limited, An agro-tech startup dedicated to revolutionizing agricultural practices, Window Booking, A platform offering smart accommodation solutions. Foodio Limited, A dynamic food platform committed to reshaping the culinary landscape.

Distinguished speakers participated in GEN celebration offering valuable insights and inspiration to the entrepreneurial community. 

Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, President of GEN Bangladesh & Chairman Daffodil Family , Dr. BikornoKumer Ghosh, CEO of FBCCI Innovation and Research Centre, IsmatJerin Khan, President of Patuakhali Women Chamber of Commerce,  Alisha Prodhan, Founder of HerNet TV,  SarabanTahura Turin, Founder of Turtle Venture, Iqbal BaharZahid, Founder President of NijerBolar Moto EktaGolpo Foundation Bangladesh (NBMEGFB), Dr. Rubina Hossain, a prominent women leader, Imran Fahad, Founder of Inspiring Bangladesh spoke at the event.
