Digital Campaign Season-4 of Walton goes on

 Abdur Rahim, a rickshaw puller in Pirojpur, has won Tk 1 million by purchasing a Walton refrigerator and registering it with the company list under the ongoing nationwide Digital Campaign Season-4 of the Bangladeshi brand.

Walton has declared the offer for the customers of its wide ranges of refrigerators and freezers centering the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. Under this offer, customers of any model of Walton refrigerators and freezers may win Tk 1 million (10 lakh) everyday. Moreover, there are chances of getting crores of cash vouchers or thousands of electronics and electrical appliances. The offer will continue till the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.

Rahim purchased a 14cft refrigerator worth Tk 37,500 on July 9 from Walton distributor M/S Haque Enterprise at Swarupkathi area at Nesarabad upazila’s paying Tk 5,000 as down payment with Tk 1,806 monthly installment facility. This fridge brought good luck for him and made him millionaire.

A check of Tk 10 lakh was handed over to him at a programme in Swarupkathi municipal Bhaban on Thursday. The function was attended, among others, by Nesarabad Upazila Chairman Abdul Haque, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sarkar Abdullah Al Mamun Babu, Swarupkathi Municipal Mayor Golam Kabir and Walton’s first senior deputy director Moshiur Rahman.

‘It’s unimaginable that I won Tk 10 lakh by buying Walton fridge. When I got the confirmation massage from Walton, I could not even believe it. I do not understand what God has written in my destiny,’ said 34-year-old Rahim.

‘I was thinking of buying the fridge for a long time for my old-aged mother as I usually don’t get enough time to go to the market for buying essential goods. Now, with this money, I will buy a piece of land so that my two sons can live without stresses,’ Rahim, who has two sons, said with a gentle smile.

Upazila Chairman Abdul Haque said, ‘We are proud of Walton. They are exporting their products to foreign countries. Customers are very happy with the quality and service of Walton products.’

Authorities said, in a bid to accelerate the initiative of building customers’ database for delivering online based swift and best after sales service, Walton is conducting the ‘Digital Campaign’ across the country.

Meanwhile, three more customers also became millionaires by buying Walton fridges. They are-Chandpur mosque Imam Mohammad Zakir, Cumilla’s Nazmul Hasan and Mohammad Yasin from Feni.
