TikTok hosted Creator Day 2025 in Dhaka for the first time, bringing together content creators, publishers and media for an immersive, workshop-style learning experience combined with a vibrant carnival celebration.
The event aimed to celebrate Bangladesh’s creators while providing them with practical skills, tools, and resources to enhance responsible content creation and storytelling on the platform.
The day offered creators a unique blend of education and entertainment. Participants engaged in interactive workshop and panel discussion covering content planning, storytelling techniques, filming strategies, and the effective use of TikTok’s in-app features, helping creators and media professionals elevate their craft and produce meaningful, high-quality content.
In addition to learning, the event embraced a carnival-inspired setup designed to celebrate the creativity of Bangladesh’s content community. Creators and media enjoyed interactive games, creative activities, and exclusive giveaways, making the day experiential and fun while reinforcing TikTok’s commitment to supporting the creators and the community. A friendly creator football match kicked off the festivities, setting a lively tone for the day’s activities.
The event also showcased the content journeys of some of the most influential creators and publishers from the country, spanning film, TV, and sports categories, among others. This combination of learning, celebration, and recognition highlighted TikTok’s ongoing focus on empowering creators and strengthening the local content ecosystem.
"Bangladesh is home to an incredibly vibrant and talented community of storytellers and content creators," said Umais Naveed, Content Operations Lead, South Asia, TikTok. "Creator Day is our way of celebrating them, while also equipping our creator community in Bangladesh with practical skills and clear guidance, helping them tell meaningful stories, use the platform responsibly, and contribute to a safer and more positive content ecosystem. Our goal is to empower the community, strengthen the local content landscape, and ensure that TikTok remains a platform where creativity thrives and stories from Bangladesh can reach audiences worldwide.'
As the year drew to a close, TikTok reflected on its successes in 2025 and celebrated the strength of its vibrant community. The platform also shared its content and category priorities for 2026, enabling creators to plan ahead and align their content strategies accordingly.
