The stage is set for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, and Bangladesh will be roaring with the home crowd advantage as they kick off their campaign against Scotland on October 3rd in Dhaka.

This exciting news comes after the conclusion of the Women's T20 World Cup Qualifiers on Tuesday, where Scotland displayed their prowess by reaching the finals, ultimately falling short to Sri Lanka.

Bangladesh's Group B promises to be a thrilling battleground. While they hold the home advantage, they'll face stiff competition from a diverse group of cricketing giants.

Scotland, fresh from their strong showing in the Qualifiers, will be a force to be reckoned with.

They'll be joined by the ever-dominant England, the powerful South Africa, and the reigning champions, West Indies.

Meanwhile, Group A presents a different challenge. Here, the defending champions Australia will be looking to retain their crown, facing strong contenders like New Zealand and the ever-improving South Asian trio of India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

The opening match against Scotland offers Bangladesh a golden opportunity to get their World Cup campaign off to a winning start.

However, the subsequent matches against England, West Indies, and South Africa will truly test their mettle.  With the passionate home crowd cheering them on, the Tigresses will be determined to prove their prowess and potentially cause some upsets within the group.

This World Cup promises to be a display of exceptional cricketing talent, and Bangladesh finds itself at the heart of it all.  With a strong home advantage and a determined team spirit, the Tigresses are poised to make a significant mark on the tournament.
