Bangladesh Under—19 Women cricket team will take on Sri Lanka in the final of the Tri nation T-20 series at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket stadium, Cox’s Bazar on today.

The hosts Bangladesh, who stormed into the final after winning three out of  their four league matches (one match was abandoned due to rain), are just highly excited to win the final against Sri Lanka.

Bangladesh Women’s team on their way to seal the final spot defeated Pakistan in their first meeting by four wickets and 36 runs in the second match in the double-leg tournament.

The Young Tigresses ensured the final after edging past their Sri Lankan counterparts by just one run in the first match when the second match was washed pout due rain.

In the first meeting, the home side posted 114 runs after losing six wickets with Rabeya Khan scoring unbeaten 50.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka won one and lost one match against Pakistan.

Sri Lankan girls earned three points from one win and one abandoned matches to qualify in the final.

In all respects, it can be expected that the home side are favourites to win the final.

But Sumiya, Rabeya, Suborna will have to shine with their bats and Nishita Akhhter will have to sharp with her bowling attack.
