Bangladesh national cricket team will tour India to take part in the bilateral series against the hosts in September. The Tigers will play two Tests and three T20I series of their tour. The national cricket team will also play Afghanistan and Pakistan after the T-20 World Cup in June. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the news on Sunday.

According to the BCB, the Tigers will stay in India for one month. Nazmul Hossain Shanto & Co. are scheduled to leave for India on September 15 and stay there until October 15. The series is under the Future Tour Programme (FTP) of the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The fixtures are yet to be finalized. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BBCI) will announce the fixtures very soon.

Both teams played 41 matches in ODI. Of them, India won 32 encounters, while Bangladesh has come out successful on eight occasions.

One match was abandoned due to rain. Tigers never won an ODI against hosts on Indian soil.

Bangladesh played World Cup cricket in India in 2023. Tiger’s performance was shambolic to say the least in the World Cup. Bangladesh bounced back after the mega show in India. Nazmul Hossain Shanto’s side won over New Zealand in home and away ODI series. The Tigers also triumphed in the ODI series at home by 2-1.

The Tigers will face Zimbabwe in the five-match T-20 series in May at home after the ongoing series against Sri Lanka.
