Leaving behind the memory and the controversy of the previous game, Bangladesh are keen to focus on their match against Pakistan as they want to make the occasion memorable with a victory, said pacer Taskin Ahmed.

The Tigers will take on Pakistan on Sunday at the Adelaide Oval and the match is going to be their last game in this T20 World Cup unless anything miracle happens.

"Our goal is to give our best and win the last game. We are not keen to thinking of what happened in the past and in fact we are not bothered about it," Taskin said on Friday  after Bangladesh's practice session at Karen Rolton Oval ground.

Mathematically Bangladesh are still in the semifinal race but a lot of ifs and buts are involved there to make it happen. Bangladesh firstly need to beat Pakistan with big margin and then hope India or South Africa to loss their matches at the hands of Zimbabwe and Netherlands respectively, also with big margin.

"There are lots of calculations involved if we want to make it semifinal. It is out of control. What we can control is to play well in the next match and that's our target. We want to win the game against Pakistan," Taskin added.

But Bangladesh wouldn't have needed any calculation should they beat India in the previous game. In the rain-curtailed match, they lost the game by five runs through DLS method.

The match produced some controversy as Bangladesh wanted the ground to be dried up completely after it was interrupted by rain.

According to the players, the umpire didn't pay heed to it and the revised target was set 151 in 16 overs for Bangladesh after India managed to score 184-6. However with 10 wickets at hands, Bangladesh were still favourite as they needed just 85 runs off 54 balls after the revised target was set.

The Tigers failed to seal the deal as they came up with shoddy batting show that undermined the effort of Liton Das who put Bangladesh in control with a majestic 27 ball-60.

Later, Vice-captain Nurul Hasan Sohan accused India star batter Virat Kohli of fake fielding. According to him, Kohli, the man of the match of that game, feigned a throw when Arshdeep Singh fielded from the deep of the offside just before the game was halted due to rain. Sohan said the fake action should cost India five penalty runs for which they discussed with umpires in vain.

Taskin said that they are not thinking about those two incidents as the things are now past. Instead they want to focus on the next match, leaving behind those issues.

"Actually you see this is not in our control, yes it means the umpires' decision or something. Yes, there is a lot of controversy about some things that are fake throws or other things, which are actually completely out of our control. So there is no point in thinking about it. And the biggest thing is that the match is now past. So we want to think about the upcoming match," Taskin remarked.

"As the ICC event definitely everything is under them. It is up to them although things might have been better for us if it went in our favour. But since we can't bring it back now, we're not thinking about it. The aim will be to give the best in the next match.

Taskin rated Pakistan as tough team to beat but relied on the unpredictability of T20 game.

"In T20 cricket, it is tough to predict anything. Just one thing can change the momentum. If our bowlers can bowl well and restricted them to 160 or 150, I think we have the chance to win the game," he concluded.
