Tigers eying to whitewash England

Tigers are enthusiastically eyeing to ‘Whitewash’ the touring England team after confirming the ongoing T20 series with winning the second match on Sunday.

Certainly, Bangladesh will leave no stone unturned to win the third and last T20 match today against England to take place at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium and now it’s not beyond Tigers reach to whitewash England as they bounced back strongly from the ODI series defeat to seal the T20 series.

Tigers, proved their ability displaying the dominance execution in all departments to chase the targets in two matches successively, the second T20 was a bit competitive but Bangladesh did hold their nerve to finish the match with seven balls remaining.

Might be there were so many talks about that England are here with their limited squad with leaving some of their regular performers, that is not obviously a big question but Bangladesh won the series and if they could whitewash England that would be history.

Meanwhile, there were also a huge talks about Tigers’ ability in the T20 aggression, accounting for the fact that in the shortest format usually they throw up unpredictable contests where context sometimes takes a backseat.

But in the ongoing tour of England they prove their mettle with winning the series against the world champions, as the marauding visitors find themselves under pressure on and off the field.

Despite the limited squad, England have a pretty strong bowling attack, comprising Adil Rashid, Moeen Ali, Jofra Archer, Mark Wood and Chris Woakes to provide the firepower. Moeen Ali has a good recent record at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, so he might come in handy with both bat and ball in the last game, there is nothing to  consider England a weak team.

Tigers have a balanced squad, with a number of performers in respect to batting, bowling and fielding. Bangladesh would want a quick and solid partnership from the openers Litton Das and Rony Talukder, Najmul Hossain and Towhid Hridoy, while Shakib Al Hasan and Afif Hossain will be expected to play the finishers' role again.

Some of the players of home side are capable to take the responsibility to carry on the charge at any upsetting situation and can bail out from disaster when the captain can lead from front with the batters Shanto, young Towhid Ridoy, Afif Hossain, all-rounders Mehidy Hassan Miraz and Shakib himself.

Meanwhile, good innings from the openers Litton Das and Rony Talukder are mostly expected and the openers will have to appear with their real proficiency.

Specially, Litton Das has been going through a bad-patch for a long when he flopped in the ODI series as he has two successive ducks in the second and third ODI followed on seven runs in the first ODI. Litton could not do justice to his ability in the T20 series also, just failed to shine in the T20 matches his contribution only for 12 and nine runs in the first and second T20.

But the quality of his ball-striking previous different occasions showed his the levels, it is highly expected that Litton can get back his form and surely aware of that he needs to perk up in the last match of tour of England, which would be a huge support for the Tigers.

In all respects combined efforts are important to win a match and Tigers are matured enough to play their respective role indeed.
