In response to the cricketers’ demands, BCB Chief Nazmul Hasan Papon on Tuesday was not sympathetic to them at all, rather he was critical and acted in an antagonistic role which does not go with his position. He found conspiracy behind the strike but he did not make it clear what type of conspiracy he found.

But his latest remarks will certainly tantamount to dishearten the Team Bangladesh which would create negative impact in their next performances. So, which party is actually involved in conspiracy is still to determined. BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon was very critical of the players and also revealed that the strike came as a shock to him. He thinks there is a conspiracy going on to put country’s cricket in disarray.

The president has repeatedly indicated at the press conference that it is the product of a long-term plan and is part of a conspiracy against cricket in Bangladesh. “We will find who is behind this conspiracy” said Hassan during a press conference yesterday. The BCB president however did not reveal their plans as how they will be resolving this issue.

The president tried to answer all of cricketers 11-point demand. He made many controversial comment regarding those 11-point demand. Referring to the first claim of the cricketers about Cricketers Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CWAB), he said that the BCB did not gave them any resignation at the beginning. About BPL he said the players are themselves undecided about BPL. He said it’s up to the franchisees to decide whether or not to give foreign cricketers more money than local players or not. The BCB cannot decide on this.

Papon said BCB would have accepted all of these demands if the players came to him. But they didn’t tell the BCB and instead called for a strike. He thinks this was an attempt to destroy the image of Bangladesh cricket in front of the world and the president says that the cricketers became successful in that.

The president sees this movement as a significant plot before India tour next month. He added that, cricketers do not like foreign cricket coaches. His thinks players likedomestic coaches more. He even went onto say that cricketers would even like to play without any coaches.

Many experts now say, criticizing your own country’s cricketers’ in this manner is something abysmal. The blame game which now started will do nothing but harm country’s cricket even more.
