After a long break due to corona pandemic, national team cricketers have started their individual training session. However, ahead of the scheduled Sri Lanka tour later this month, cricketers have now joined team’s training session.

During individual training session, players were training alone. However, now coaching staff led by head coach Russell Domingo and others joined the camp.

Russell Domingo, bowling coach Ottis Gibson and fielding coach Ryan Cook joined the cricket team’s training session yesterday. They joined the training session before their mandatory 14-day quarantine period as all the coaches returned to Bangladesh last week.

Earlier, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had appealed to the Department of Health to allow corona negative coaching staff to join practice sessions. The BCB has received a positive response from the Department of Health in response to that request. The Tigers are scheduled to tour Sri Lanka in the last week of this month to play a three-match Test series.
