Just a few days ago, Bangladesh cricket team went under a 14-day quarantine period in New Zealand. Now after completing the New Zealand series, Tigers are now in Sri Lanka and after reaching the island nation on Monday, team members and coaching staff everyone are currently under a three-day quarantine protocol near a hotel close to Colombo.

What is the current status of the Tigers in Sri Lanka? How are they spending the three-day quarantine? What is the status of Team Bangladesh? After listening to Minhazul Abedin Nannu, the chief selector who went to Sri Lanka with the team, it seems that the Tigers are spending good time there even amid quarantine.

"Quarantine means loneliness," Minhazul Abedin Nannu told over a telephone call on Tuesday morning. We are all locked in one room here. There is no chance to go out. All the cricketers, coaching staff, managers, officials are all locked in their rooms. We have to be on our rooms for one more day. There is no way to get out of your room. '

The food is served inside the room. Nannu said that the food is brought by the hotel staff and then they left it at the door outside their rooms. ‘After the room service leave, we open the door and take our food inside the room. This is how time goes. When the quarantine ends on Wednesday, there may be opportunities to have food elsewhere. Then there will be team practice on Thursday. '

Nannu provided another significant piece of information. As everyone knows that before the start of the two-match Test series in Kandy, the Bangladesh team will be in quarantine in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka! However, Team Bangladesh is not staying in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. They are now in another town called Nigombo near Colombo. Which is 12 and a half kilometers west of Colombo International Airport and north of the city of Colombo.

Team Bangladesh is now at the Jet Young Beach Hotel in Nigombo. Which is right next to the beach and also right next to the sea. Nannusaid the environment there is very nice and heavenly. The cricketers are overwhelmed when they look outside from their hotel roomsand enjoy the serene view even though they are alone in the hotel rooms.
