A tiger has snatched a farmer’s cow while he was on his way home with the cow. The incident took place in Panchagarh district. Kawshar Ali (22) was attacked by a tiger while returning home after feeding grass to a cow.
At that time, the farmer managed to escape, but the tiger took away the cow worth about 30 to 35 thousand taka.
The farmer was attacked by a tiger on Wednesday evening in an abandoned tea garden south of Muhurijot village in Satmera union of Panchagarh Sadar upazila.
The village is bordered and densely forested in the area, which is home to tigers. He later tried to rescue the cow with the locals but before that the cow died due to the attack of the tiger.
