A three-wheeler driver was killed when his vehicle over turned in Jhenidah on Friday morning. The accident took place in front of Jhenidah government veterinary college, about 13 kiloetres from the district town.
The deceased was identified as Rais Uddin, 37, son of Aftab Uddin of Shakharidah village in Harinakundu upazila.
Jhenidah Sadar police station officer in charge (OC) Mijanur Rahman said Rais Uddin with his fish laden three wheeler was marching towards Jhenidah town.
When he arrived near Jhenidah government veterinary college, lost control over his speedy nosimon and skidded of the road. He died on the spot.
The police filed a case and sent the body to Jhenidah Sadar hospital morgue for post mortem examination, OC said.
