Three persons have been caught on charge of stealing railway goods from Pahartali and a case has been filed against them.
The Railway Security Force filed the case on Sunday afternoon.
The detainees were identified as Md. Shafiqul Islam, Md. Jasim Uddin and Md.Alamgir. Pahartali outpost officer-in-charge Rezwanur Rahman Russell said that the three thieves were caught red-handed while stealing various railway goods on Saturday afternoon.
He further said that during interrogation they said that they were stealing goods with the help of Md. Yunus, deputy assistant engineer in charge of the cell depot in Pahartali.
Rezwanur Rahman said that preparations are underway to send them to the court after a case was filed in their name.
