Three fresh Covid-19 cases were diagnosed after testing 32 new samples at the positivity rate of 9.38 percent on Sunday in Rangpur division.
"With the diagnosis of the three fresh cases, the total number of Covid-19 patients rose to 64,936 in the division," Divisional Deputy Director (Health) Dr Habibur Rahman said on Monday.
The number of recovered Covid-19 patients remained steady at 63,579 as no more patients healed during the last 24 hours ending at 8 am on Monday in the division.
The number of casualties also remained steady at 1,292 as no new death was reported from the division during the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, more 8,582 doses of Covid-19 jabs were administered as the first, second and booster doses on Sunday raising the number of inoculated vaccines to three crore 33 lakh 14 thousand and 778 doses in the division.
"Among the total administered Covid-19 jabs so far, 1,41,64,220 doses were inoculated as the first doses, 1,32,55,702 as the second doses and 58,94,856 as the booster doses," Dr Rahman said.
