Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan on Wednesday said those responsible for the death of Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Anisul Karim Shipon will face the music.
Stern action will be taken against those involved in the death of the police official.
He made this remark while addressing journalists at the secretariat in the capital.
The minister also said, “Investigation against the hospital authority and its employees is going on. The health department will be informed in this regard if it is needed.”
The senior ASP was allegedly beaten to death by the hospital's staff on Monday.
Police, a day after ASP’s death, arrested Dr Niaz Morshed, the director of Mind Aid Hospital.
With his arrest, so far 11 staff of the hospital have been arrested over the incident.
