Early in the new year, renowned director Shokal Ahmed has started a new drama titled ‘Khan Bari Barabari’. The story of the drama is a comedy. It has been written by Yusuf Ali Khokon.
The shooting of the first lot of the drama is currently underway in different locations of Uttara, including a shooting house.
Parsa Ivana, Kajal Subarno, Nishat Priyam and Samantha are playing the characters of the four sisters in the drama. In the drama Ivana is starring as Kona, Kajal as Jui, Nishat as Lata and Samantha as Hena.
Mim Chowdhury is playing the character of another sister. The story of the drama revolves around the story of these five sisters.
Mahmudul Islam Mithu plays the role of their father. Regarding acting in the play, Ivana said, “Shokal is a talented and good director. After a long time I have been working on a drama series under his direction. Since the story of the drama revolves around us five sisters, we are enjoying the work.”
Kajal Subarno said, “My character in this drama is very much like a tom boy. I am trying to portray the character by being the character within myself.”
Nishat Priyam said, “This is my first work with Shokal. He is making the drama with great care. He is making up more scenes spontaneously during the shooting. My character is quite different in this drama. That’s why it’s so nice to be acting in a drama.”
Samantha said, “Everyone I work with in this play is my favorite. It is also great to hangout in between shooting scenes. But before doing any scene Shokal briefs us all so well that the acting becomes lively and easy. I am very optimistic about the series.”
Soon the ‘Khan Barir Barabari’ series will be aired on Baishakhi TV. Meanwhile Shokal Ahmed said that Kazi Riton and Tuhin Barua are producing the drama together.
