The ‘X-Men’ are calling on the help of two non-mutants with shady histories with them, ‘Juggernaut’ and ‘Deadpool’. In a new story arc for the ‘X-Men Unlimited’ series on Marvel Unlimited, the Merc with the Mouth and Cain Marko will assist the ‘X-Men’ in dealing with a threat they can't tackle themselves. The series, written by ‘Deadpool’ co-creator Fabian Nicieza, will also introduce a brand new villain to the Marvel Universe.

Juggernaut and Deadpool have been members of X-Men adjacent teams, despite not technically being mutants. Wade Wilson gained his powers after being experimented on by Weapon X as he was dying of cancer. He was turned into an unkillable hero with a healing factor similar to Wolverine, while also being able to regenerate body parts when needed. Meanwhile, Juggernaut aka Cain Marko is the step-brother of Charles Xavier. The villain (and sometimes antihero) became the Unstoppable Juggernaut after finding the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, which transformed him into a superhuman with superstrength and super-durability. Both ‘Deadpool’ and ‘Juggernaut’ have been allies and adversaries of the ‘X-Men’.

This week, shared ‘Deadpool’ co-creator Fabian Nicieza and artiste Matt Horak were teaming-up for a brand new story arc for the current X-Men Unlimited series on Marvel Unlimited. The eight-part series will deal with the X-Men calling in Juggernaut and Deadpool for assistance in dealing with a problem the mutants can't handle themselves. The arc, titled ‘X-Men: Paradise Lost’ will be released in a mobile scrolling format on Marvel Unlimited, similar to other Marvel's Infinity Comics.

Marvel shared a three-page preview of ‘X-Men: Unlimited’ #13, which features ‘Deadpool’ quipping about assembling the lamest super-team ever, while also complimenting Juggernaut's new armor. Additionally, teases for the series share ‘Deadpool’ is about to get punched in the face by Juggernaut "repeatedly."   -Screen Rant
