Husband and wife duo Masum Bashar and Mili Bashar are two prominent faces in the world of theater. For the last few years, they have made a name for themselves by playing the role of mother and father in television serials. In fact, they are quite busy shooting television serials and telefilms.
In real life, Masum and Mili Bashar are a happily married couple. They have two daughters together: Nabila and Naziba Bashar. Their youngest daughter Naziba is also involved in acting. Masum and Mili started their acting career by working in Dhaka Theatre.
Masum made his acting debut with director Nasir Uddin Yusuf Bacchu’s stage play ‘Muntasir Fantasy’ in 1974. On the other hand, Mili made her stage debut with ‘Shakuntala’ by the same director. Masum and Mili first worked together in the television series ‘Agun Alpona’ directed by Matia Banu Shukur. Since then they appeared in countless dramas together.
Masum Bashar said, ‘I really enjoy acting. I am at my best when I am doing acting projects.’
‘So much of my life has passed by in the blink of an eye. Now I really love acting. I enjoy working with my family members and spending time with them. My husband Masum has been one of my biggest inspirations in my acting career. I pray for his good health.’
