A new synopsis for ‘The Flash: Armageddon Part 1’, the latest Arrowverse crossover, has been released. ‘The Flash’ will be entering its eighth season on the CW. Fans of the CW's Arrowverse are no strangers to the massive crossover events that take place over multiple shows while continuing interconnected stories. They also see many fan-favorite characters interact with each other, something that doesn't normally happen until the big events. Last year's crossover, ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’, saw the biggest one yet.

‘Armageddon’ will be the first crossover that does not have Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) or Oliver Queen/Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) and their respective shows cross over. Instead, the episodes will all be a part of ‘The Flash’ season 8. It will follow ‘The Flash’ (Grant Gustin) and his team coming together with other heroes to stop Despero (Tony Curran). While forming the Legion of Superheroes, the team will also have to deal with Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) and Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh). The crossover will also see the return of Ray Palmer, played by Brandon Routh.

Now, an official synopsis has been released for ‘The Flash: Armageddon Part 1’. Coming from The CW (via ComicBook), the synopsis details what fans can expect from the crossover. Details are slim in order to prevent spoilers, but it is definitely enough to hype ‘Flash’ fans.

Having this many heroes come together on ‘The Flash’ will definitely excite fans. The ‘Armageddon’  event is quickly shaping up to be one of the most epic and largest ones yet. Bringing in an alien threat for the heroes to face will definitely test their strength and their trust in each other.
