The Farewell Ceremony of Batch 30 “Adrikk” from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at the University Of Asia Pacific (UAP) turned out to be a resounding success. Held on the 29th and 30th of May at the UAP Plaza, the event was a memorable occasion for all attendees.
The ceremony began with great anticipation as Prof. Dr Md. Sultan Mahmud, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of UAP, graced the occasion as the chief guest. His presence added a sense of prestige to the event. Mr Shuvankar Podder, Sub-Divisional Engineer at PGCB, also attended as a special guest, further enhancing the significance of the ceremony. Dr G. R. Ahmed Jamal, the esteemed Head of the Department of EEE,UAP, presided over the occasion and delivered a valuable speech, inspiring the graduating students and setting the tone for the event.
The ceremony also welcomed Sadia Afrose, who represented the EEE Alumni Association. Her presence showcased the support and camaraderie of the alumni community, symbolizing the strong bond between past and present students.
A highlight of the ceremony was when all the students from the Graduation batch were presented with crests by the esteemed guests. The crests served as a token of recognition for their hard work and dedication throughout their undergraduate journey. Following the formal proceedings, an energetic flash mob event took place in the plaza. The flash mob injected a burst of excitement and showcased the creativity and talent of the students. The lively performance captivated the audience and set the stage for the main cultural event.
The main cultural event was a grand affair, with students from all departments and a large number of ex-students from UAP in attendance. The plaza was filled with an atmosphere of celebration and nostalgia. The cultural event featured various performances, including music, dance, showcasing the diverse talents within the UAP community.
