Rokeya Begum, 74, mother of Thakurgaon Deputy Commissioner Dr Kamruzzaman Selim, died of coronavirus. She died at a hospital in Dhaka.
On August 8, the results of the Dinajpur PCR lab identified the coronavirus of the parents of the Thakurgaon deputy commissioner. From then onshe was in isolation in Thakurgaon.
