Thakurgaon-2 MP Dabirul Islam has been infected with Corona. On Sunday (August 23) evening, a report from M Abdur Rahim Medical College confirmed his corona contraction. Besides, 15 more people have been newly infected in the district.
The matter has been confirmed by the District Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Mahfuzar Rahman.
He said that after collecting samples of Thakurgaon-2 MP Alhaj Dabirul Islam on August 21, it was sent to Dinajpur M Abdur Rahim Medical College for examination. On Sunday his results came positive.
Besides, 15 more people besides the MP have been affected in Thakurgaon district. Among them, 3 corona patients have been identified in Sadar upazila, 6 in Baliadangi upazila, 3 in Pirganj upazila, 2 in Ranishankail upazila and 1 in Haripur upazila.
The total number of corona patients in Thakurgaon district so far is 810, out of which 436 have recovered and got discharge. And 14 people died.
