Zahurul Islam, Deputy Commissioner of Panchagarh at a function held on the Golden Jubilee and Mujib Birth Centennary at Tentulia Pilot High School on December 24 has declared Tentulia upazila as the 100 percent Scout upazila of the district.
It is learnt, scout teams have been formed in all educational institutions and clubs including 239 Primary Schools, High Schools , Madrashas and Colleges of the upazila and all the institutions took part in the function held on Mujib Birth Centennary. The function presided over by Sohag Chandra Saha, President of Bangladesh Scouts of Tentulia and Upazila Nirbahi Officer, the function was addressed, among others, by Superintendent of Police of Panchgarh Yousuf Ali, Chairman of Upazila Parishad Kazi Mahmudur Rahman Doublew, Upazila Education Officer Mustafizur Rahman, Commissioner of Panchgarh district Scouts Dipak Chandra Saha, Upazila Vice Chairman Yousuf Ali and Upazila Women's Vice Chairman Razia Sultana. The function was conducted by Joint Secretary of Tentulia Upazila unit of Bangladesh Scouts Akram Hossain Zakaria.
