A teenage school girl was brutally murdered after being raped in city’s Dhanmondi area on Thursday afternoon.
The victim was identified as Anuska Noor Amin,17.
She was staying with her parents at House No 17 in Dhanmondi 13/A.
Her mother is Noori Chowdhury and her father is Al Amin.
Talking to the Bangladesh Post, victim’s relative Sharif Ahmed confirmed the incident,
According to the family sources, the victim was a student of Mastermind school, a prestigious English medium school in the city.
She was on her way to a local coaching center in Kalabagan area in the city when some youths led by prime accused Fardin Eftekhar Jihan forcibly took her to a house in Dolphin area under Kalabagan Police Station.

Later she was raped there. At one stage, her condition became very critical due to profuse bleeding. She was brought to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Noori Chowdhury, mother of the victim, who is a computer operator of Dhaka South City Corporation, said, “ My daughter told me that she was going to bring working sheets from the Legend coaching center at around 12pm. However, I didn’t know whether she actually went there.”
“Later I received a phone call from a friend of Anuskha’s and was informed about the incident, she added. Later I went to the DMCH”, she described wailing.
Local sources said prime accused Jihan is a student of Maple Leaf International School.
Police sources said key accused Jihan along with his three accomplices have been detained.
Process was on to file case in this regard.
