A 14-year-old boy was hospitalised on Monday night as two co-workers reportedly compressed air into his rectum.
The victim was identified as Tanvir, 14, son of Manik Mia of Kachua upazila of chandpur district and an employee in plastic factory in Kamrangirchar of Dhaka,
Tanvir lives with his family at a rented house at Koylaghat area of Kamrangirchar area.
The incident took place at a plastic factory at Koylaghat area 1roudn 7:30 pm on Monday as two co-workers of Tanvir—identified as Siam, 16 and Rifat, 17--- compressed air into his rectum as a prank, leaving him injured.
As his condition worsened, Tanvir was taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital around 10 and admitted there, said Inspector Faruk, in-charge of the hospital police camp.
