A teenage boy was stabbed to death allegedly by a juvenile criminal gang in Mogoltuli area of the city on Monday night.
The deceased was identified as Adil, 17. He took part in the SSC examination from Cumilla Modern School this year.
Witnesses said that Adil had a dispute with a young criminal gang named ‘Eagle Gang’ over motorcycle related issues.
Several members of the gang attacked Adil in front of Mogoltuli Karnaphuli Paper House around 11pm and stabbed him to death on the spot.
Salah Uddin, Inspector (investigation) of Kotwali Model Police Station said, they recovered the body and sent it to Cumilla Medical College Hospital.
They are trying to identify and arrest the murderers, the police officer said.
