Taylor Swift has once again made history. The 34-year-old pop star recently became the first solo artist to perform eight times at London's Wembley Stadium during a single tour. This achievement surpasses the previous record held by Michael Jackson, who performed seven shows during his Bad tour in 1988.
Swift reached this milestone during her eighth show of The Eras Tour on Tuesday, a moment she shared with her fans. Expressing her gratitude, Swift told the audience, "You just made me the first solo artist to ever play Wembley eight times in a single tour. We will never, ever be able to thank you enough for it."
The concert was made even more special by guest appearances from Jack Antonoff, lead vocalist of Bleachers, and British singer Florence Welch. Swift and Antonoff performed “Death by a Thousand Cuts” from her album *Lover* and “Getaway Car” from *Reputation*. Meanwhile, Swift and Welch delighted fans by performing their song “Florida!!!” live for the first time.
Reflecting on her career, Swift took a moment during the concert to acknowledge the importance of her musical friendships. Introducing Antonoff, she said, "I've been fortunate enough to find friendships over the years, and that's why I'm lucky enough to do a show like The Eras Tour."
In addition to the historic performance, Swift also shared a light-hearted moment with the audience, joking about how her parents were likely recording the show on their phones. "Anytime I'm having a sad or bad day, I’m gonna revisit that moment a lot," she added.
Following the European leg of her tour, Swift will return to the US for her next show in Miami on October 18.
