BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has extended his support to the families of those who lost their children and whose children were injured in the plane crash at Milestone School and College in Uttara area of Dhaka, on 21 July.
During the tragic accident, Milestone teachers Ashraful Islam and Sumaiya Rahman Lorin, along with students Tachruba Mahabin and Nure Jannat Yusha, sustained burn injuries, while Saria Akhtar lost her life.
A delegation of Amra BNP Paribar, led by its Adviser Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anee, who is also a joint secretary of BNP, visited the victims’ families in Uttara area on Wednesday and handed over financial aid to them on behalf of Tarique Rahman.
Among others, Amra BNP Paribar’s Advisers Ashraf Uddin Bakul, Abul Kashem, its Member Secretary Mokchhedul Momin Mithun, members Masud Rana Liton, Mustakim Billah, Shakil Ahmed and Rubel Amin and Jatiya Press Club Management Committee Member Jahidul Islam Roney were accompanying Anee at that time.
