Tarafdar Mohammed Ruhul Amin was accorded a reception by the sports organizer for an international recognition with obtaining the Mother Teresa Award.
Tarafdar Ruhul Amin, who has been working and patronizing a lot for the development of Bangladesh sports, was awarded with Mother Teresa Award. Organisers of different federations gave Ruhul Amin a grand reception on Thursday at the Bangladesh Handball Federation Stadium.
Ruhul Amin, a business icon of Chattogram, chairman of the football committee of Chittagong Abahani Limited became very prominent figure in the sports arena with providing huge supports to different sports federation of the country.
He is closely involved with Bangladesh Chess Federation and the Bangladesh Swimming Federation, as he was elected the senior vice-president and the vice president respectively of both the federations. Besides these, he has been regularly lends his helping hands to the federations to organize different national and international sports competitions.
Ruhul Amin, the chairman of the SAIF PowerTech, is the main man who took initiative to organize Sheikh Kamal Gold Cup (Club Cup) International football tournament.
